Briah Bohan is back with some angling news…
I’m happy to be sending in reports again and will be sending them in regularly after what was a very late arriving spring. Fishing-wise things are going very well in the upper Shannon area now. Water levels are normal on most lakes and there is a late surge of roach running the rivers.
Lough Rynn is fishing well at the moment but with the bright days evening and early mornings are best and some nice tench and bream are being caught. Tully Lake outside Killmore is also fishing well for tench and the odd bream. There are some nice tench coming out of Bolgnard and Cogar.
Fishing at Lough Garadice is a bit patchy with small fish mostly being taken. But for the patient angler some nice bream are showing in the shallower bays.
Lough Allan is fishing well for roach hybrids and some bream are also showing. Clooboniagh Lough is fishing well for small fish with some tench showing as well.
