Oaklands lake is still fishing well with good catches of carp and skimmer bream which have packed on some weight over the summer. Weighing up to 1.5lbs now there tough fighting fish should provide great winter sport for anglers.
Thomas Quinlin aged 15 is a regular to Oaklands and can vouch for the quality and quantity of the fish. He has been a constant winner over the summer. Oaklands next match is on November 17th. Draw is at 9.30am with the fishing commencing at 11am.
