Jack Tisdall secretary of the Erne Anglers AC reports:
18 anglers turned out for Match 9 of the Erne Anglers Float Only which was fished on the Ballyconnell Canal at No 1 and No 2 Lock.
Wet and mild conditions, combined with rising ware levels helped the fishing with more quality Roach being caught.
Jack Tisdall (Ballinamallard) won third match in the last four events from the Canal section at No1 Lock. Jack drawn at peg 7 and caught 62 quality Roach on the whip and  Long Pole for 10.450Kgs.
Runner up was Simon Huthwaite (Enniskillen) on peg 3 at No2 Lock Roach and Hybrids on the Pole at 9m for 6.480Kgs, Tommy Dowd (Virginia) was third with 4.950Kgs.
John Potters (Lisbellaw) won a very tight Harbour section with 3.020Kgs, were the last weight was 2.510Kgs.
Simon Huthwaite (Enniskillen) remains on top the league on 44 points with 3 matches to go.
