The Lakelands & Inland Waterways World Pairs Angling Competition is to take place 9-13th September 2013. Kevin Locke Organiser stated” I am delighted that Lakelands & Inland Waterways have agreed to sponsor the World Pairs in 2013, more information will be available from the 8th April”.

It’s not hard to describe the Irish experience, great angling, beautiful countryside, hospitality and the craic’. Combine this with the Richest Coarse Match Ever and you have the ‘Lakelands & inland Waterways World Pairs Angling Championship’! Match fishing in Ireland at it’s best.
Amateur or Pro you are in with a chance and whether you win or not, nothing beats the fabulous wild fishing in the beautiful Irish countryside. From well known international venues to locally known angling spots the Lakelands region showcases them all to you. The counties Monaghan, Fermanagh, Cavan and Leitrim produced some magnificent fishing for the inaugural match in September 2012. Yes, it was challenging at times, the weather wasn’t always on our side but the fish were and anglers produced some excellent catches.
