Carlow County Council is working with land owners to help prevent flooding on Burrin Street and lands along the River Burrin following a flood in the area back in March. Director of Services John Carley updated members on progress to try and prevent a similar flood to that in March when river levels were at their historic highest. The Burrin, which is maintained by the Joint Drainage committee, was flooded following intense rainfall.
