Fermanagh’s fishermen are being invited to contribute to what has been described as “probably the most important piece of work on angling in Northern Ireland in the last 20 years.” Robbie Marshall, development officer with the Ulster Angling Federation, believes the Strategic Review of Angling in Northern Ireland “could provide an excellent base for the future of angling”. Sport Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board in partnership with the Department of Culture Arts and Leisure and Loughs Agency have been working together with the national governing bodies representing fishing clubs to see what can be done to give angling a boost and get more people involved…
