Inland Fisheries Ireland staff are continuing their investigations into a fish kill on the Camlin River downstream of Longford Town which resulted in over 2,000 fish mortalities over a 6km stretch from above Cartron Bridge downstream as far as the confluence with the Shannon River. The investigations began last week in response to a complaint of dead fish at Cartron Bridge received from a member of the public.
