With a prize fund of €30,000 World Pairs Angling Championship is definitely an event not to be missed !
Sponsored by the Lakelands & Inland Waterways (a Waterways Ireland-Fáilte Ireland Partnership) the guaranteed prize fund is €30,000 of which €16,000 is assigned to the winning pair. Additional sponsorship obtained by the match organisers (Kevin Locke and Ireland Travel Plus) includes prizes for the Daiwa Cup and the ground support is from Inland Fisheries Ireland and DCAL Angling.
The World Pairs is a five day match fished over five different daily venues with sections fished in Fermanagh, Cavan and Leitrim. Anglers will draw their rotation on the evening of Sunday 8th September, fishing commences on Monday the 9th and concludes with a grand presentation on Friday 13th (it will be lucky for some!)
The World Pairs are delighted to announce that as part of their sponsorship in 2013 DCAL will offer all participants of the World Pairs a 14 Day combined Coarse Permit/License FREE OF CHARGE.
The license valid for the period 07Sept – 20Sept is worth £19.50.
