Slaney River Report for week ended Sunday 24th March
Following the excitement of the opening day activity on the river slowed down with few rods out in the early part of the week – we heard of 2 more fish landed – the massive flood on Thursday and Friday has meant that the river has been out of order since then.
Missing Boat
A boat belong to the Clohamon fishery was washed away in the flood when its mooring post was torn out of the ground. If anyone finds a 10ft white fiberglass boat could they please contact David Dobbs on 087 9673111
