Richie Ryan was busy in Cork Harbour with clients every day this last week. All anglers hooked up bass with good numbers falling for soft plastics and various other lures.
The picture shows young Hugh Daunt , named after the famous angling author Hugh Falkus with a nice bass. His dad Mike was a close personal friend of the angling scribe.
Richie was also guiding his brother Gerard with a 60th birthday present of a saltwater fly rod he had given him. Gerard hooked up 2 smashing bass of 6 and 7 lb on the day. He said it was his nicest birthday present so far ! Happy Birthday Ger.
