Waterford City and County Trout Angling Association report:
Pat Smith our treasure who is a member of the Irish International Disabled Anglers Fly-fishing team, has just been made president of the organisation. This was his first trip out on Knockaderry this season, the over wintered rainbow fell to a Cruncher fished on an intermediate line. Both lakes have been stocked today with 1.3 Kilo rainbows and browns. These should be cormorant proof and with careful Catch Photo and release should provide excellent surface sport when the summer arrives!
