Andrew Ryan, APGAI Clonanav Fly Fishing reports:

26/05/2013: Clonanav regulars Keith Graham and Ian Hossack had a great week here this week. The weather is slowly improving and so is the fishing. Despite some warmer days the majority of the fish are still feeding on the bottom.  With some hatches the fish are still not fully moving onto dry fly. There were some Iron Blue duns and a few hawthornes (About a month late!) evident on the rivers at the moment.

Keith and Ian had some excellent fishing on nymphs fished deep on the bottom. The best fly was one of our new PTN flashbacks with a black nickel Tungsten bead.

The prospects for the next few weeks are excellent. The days can only get warmer thus improving hatches and fish activity.
