Estimated 500+ fish for Sid & crew with bragging rights to young Dan

Wexford Guide Sid Jones and his son Dan joined the lads from Carlow CAC for a fishing trip and reports:
Finally after being blown off due to recent strong winds my boat trip could get under way. Thursday, destination Hook head and what a day blue skies and sunshine. We steamed out to our mark aboard the Orinocho. I armed some of our rods with Shamrock Fishing Tackle rigs and we dropped down through the depths in search of fish. Brian Taite and Darren Cullen instantly hitting Mackerel on the mark with Shamrock Bullseye I got into a few Ballan Wrasse with the Micky Fish Rig and my son Dan was hitting Mackerel and Pollock on the bullseye rigs and Kilmore Killers.

The lads from Carlow CAC Gerry,  Noel and Tom landed Mackerel and Pollock on Rainbow Warrior Rigs, Jimmy and Darragh were using their own rigs and Shamrock rigs and had some lovely Cuckoo and Ballan Wrasse on both along with plenty of Mackerel….. Estimated 500+ fish were caught and my son Dan having the bragging rights with the most fish caught.
