Forty anglers braved the wind and the rain over four days to fish Killeshandra Angling Festival 2014. Venues included two sections on Killykeen (Boathouse and the Deeps), Derries Lower (Sean’s Shore) and Dereskit. The following is a list of the winners:-
1st. Francis McGoldrick 49.090kg
2nd. Neil Mallinson 47.990kg
3rd. Buck Taylor 47.240kg
4th. Tony Kearsley 44.940kg
5th. Kenny Seddon 41.150kg
6th. Simon Huthwaite 39.500kg
Pike angling remains very good. Two French anglers fished the Dromore river and caught 52 Pike over four days, twelve of which were over 1 meter long.
