Ambitious plans to transform a Coalisland beauty-spot into a training lake for Northern Ireland’s Angling team could turn the area into a mecca for fishermen and women. The newly formed Roughan Angling Club has acquired the rights of the 50 acre Roughan Lough on a ten year lease, and intends to stock the lake with rainbow trout. A spokesperson for the club said it intends to make the lough a training lake for the national fishing team as well as for angling coaches. ..
