A NEW documentary on the River Lee will be screened this weekend at Cork Film Festival. ‘River Runner – the untold story of the Wild Atlantic Salmon on the River Lee’ will premiere on November 16 at the Gate Cinema in Cork.
Billed as ‘the untold story of the River Lee’, it’s a feature length documentary which includes the fate of the Wild Atlantic Salmon and the clear-felling of a unique river forest both consequences of the damming of the River Lee in the 1950s for electricity generation….
