Angling guide Brendan O’Reilly reports that the Newgrange Active Angling Spring League is up and running. The first two legs have been fished and fishing has been hard for the lads with only a few fish caught on each outing. Lloyd Lynch was the winner of the first leg and Luke Everard losing a good double as reported in late Jan. John, Lloyds Dad won the 2nd leg and again fishing was hard but there was a couple of nice fish, a 9-07 was caught by John and Glen caught his PB fish weighting 9-12 not many ounces left before that double. Next outing is on Feb 23th.
