Lindsey Clarke reports  from LOUGH MELVIN –  Monday 10th  to Sunday 16th February 2014.

The poor and wintery weather over the week ensured that most boats stayed in harbour and did not venture out. A few hardy souls were out but there are no reports of any salmon caught. The weekend brought much better conditions but funnily enough there was little activity. Noel Johnston reported hooking a salmon that straightened his hook while running!
