Monday 1th  to Sunday 7th September 2014.

There was fair water on Monday (0.22m) but thereafter there was dry weather and the river fell as the week progressed to give low summer conditions. The gauge average for the week read 0.13 metres and the river was understandably quieter with only 6 visiting rods fishing over the week and only a few salmon recorded.

On Monday, Pierre Rumeau recorded a 2½lb grilse caught on a fly from beat 7. On Tuesday, Bernard McNeilis reported a 4lb grilse caught on a fly from beat 8 and on Sunday, Niall Hosey accounted for a small grilse caught on worm from beat 8.
