The long weekend proved fruitful for skipper John Fleming of the Brazen Hussy 2. John reports that mackerel were slack but pollack and cod showed in good numbers, with a lot of small codling being caught and returned.
The pollack caught were up to eight pounds in weight.
Plenty of dates still available for the season. Tope and ray are the next to be targeted. Places available still.
