Ruairi Coleman from the Swords Angling Centre reports that the sea fishing on the east coast is still going strong. Ruairi fished two east coast rock marks this week, on the first he had loads of dabs and codling. On the second he had some nice smooth-hounds and one big mackerel. Some mackerel have been reported from north Dublin peirs but the mackerel fishing is  still patchy.

For up to date angling information and a range of top gear why not drop into Ruairi at his shop in Swords. He stocks a full range of sea, game, pike and coarse angling tackle and bait. Swords Angling Centre is located in Applewood Village next door to the Orchard Public House.

Ruairi can be contacted by telephone at 087 707 0237 or by email at [email protected] The Swords Angling

Centre is now open Sundays from 9.30 to 2.30 for the rest of the summer.
