Angling guide Michael Flanagan reports on the closing day competition at Lough Ennell…
On Sunday October 12th Lough Ennell Anglers hosted their Sweep Stake competition . The event was fished from 11am that Morning and all fish were presented for weigh-in at Caffreys Lounge at 8pm. Garda Niall Kenny of Rochfortbridge who is based in Clondalkin was Top Rod from Ennell and had a cracking fish of 2.512lbs. Mark Kenny finished 2nd with 1.424lbs, and 3rd was Paul Owens of Dublin with 1.032lbs. John Tyrrell Competition Captain of L.E.T.P.A. presented the prizes.
