Well done to Joe Whoriskey who caught and released 14 trout on Lough Doon

Lough Doon

Lough Doon produced some fine catches during the week. Amongst the successful anglers was Joe Whoriskey, Derry, who had a total of 14 trout (all released) over two days, biggest at 2 lbs. Successful flies for Joe included Black Pennell, Peter Ross and Duckfly Emerger patterns. Permits for Lough Doon are available from the Blue Devon Pub, Dromahair, Co.
