Lough Arrow
Lough Arrow Fish Preservation Association & District Anglers held a fly fishing competition on 6th April. Sixteen anglers took part in the event and caught a total of 11 trout despite the blustery conditions. The competition was based on heaviest fish and results were as follows:
1st – Karl Murrin 3.474 lbs.
2nd – Joe Casey 1.628 lbs.
3rd – Francis McSharry 1.600 lbs.
