Julian Kendrick tells us that Daingean Match Anglers enjoyed a days fishing on the Barrow, after a slow start thing began to move:
A great day had by most of the lads on the River Barrow in Athy. Thanks to Athy Angling Club for the use of the river,
Its been a cold and foggy day and the first five hour match this year gave the Daingean anglers a while longer to try for a bite or two, the fish did move up at the end. Even though there were still a few blanks most of the lads had a good day .
