We would like to pass on our congratulations to Mary Tigwell from Lakelands Angling Ballinamore on retaining the All Ireland Ladies title with 6.300kg.

Ireland’s top lady angler and ALL IRELAND LADIES CHAMPION for the second year running, Mary Tigwell, beat off five others with her Killykeen catch from the Boathouse section. Mary’s mixed bag consisted of hybrids, 2 tench, a few skimmers and one roach all caught on the pole & feeder.

Mens competition
Meanwhile in the men’s competition Fergal Smith was up against 114 anglers on what was a tough days fishing all round. Winning with 11kg, just 200g ahead of runner up Cathal Hughes of Lurgan Coarse Angling Club. Brian Nesbitt, Lee Symonds, Baz Smith and Piotr Horbinski rounded off the top six respectively.

The National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland is the management body for coarse fishing in Ireland, North and South representing coarse and predator anglers whether as a member club or individual angler.
