Portobello AC can’t keep away from the Barrow at Graiguenamanagh, and who can blame them when Graiguenamanagh Angling Club pegs the banks and puts up a sign while Waterside Guesthouse serves up a very welcome breakfast.
This time only the fish could resist the town’s attractions with almost crystal clear water making the fish much shier-biting than in our Spring matches. Chris Moore and Richie Keegan took advantage of their end pegs to put plenty of dace in their nets using medium pole and maggot tactics.
