A new event for junior anglers in Ireland. The NCFFI Junior Club Championships is open to teams of 4 (Male or Female) from its affiliated clubs. A club team may comprise of 1 x Under 23 angler (Max) and 3 x Under 18 anglers. (Under the age, as at 31 Dec 2014).
The event will be Float Only with a Pole limit of 11.5m and fished to FIPS Float rules Draw 9.00am fishing 11.30am to 3.30pm, 4 hours. Bait limits are: 17ltrs of groundbait, including any leam corn or hemp. 3 pints of live bait, includes Maggots, Pinkies, Caster, Worms. (1/4KG Worm will count as a pint of bait). Bloodworm & Joker not permitted.
Prizes and medals will be awarded to the top three teams and top three individuals.
The event will also serve as one of the qualifiers to select individuals for the World Championships Junior teams (U18 & U23) in Portugal 2016 as well as the Celtic Cup Scotland trip in the same year and will therefore be fished according to FIPS rules.
Entry is €20 per team. An annual junior license can be purchased fromLoughs Agency – Angling €3/£2. Licences will be available to purchase on the day if notified in advance
The day will conclude with a BBQ kindly sponsored by O’Doherty’s of Enniskillen.
