Ireland’s pike and predator anglers have been competing at international level for  a number of years. In the last two years, Irish anglers affiliated to the Angling Council of Ireland have taken part in a number of prestigious international predator angling events in France, including the world boat fishing with lures event.

On Saturday 28th March, at the Westmanstown Sports Centre in Dublin, angling’s national governing body, the Angling Council of Ireland (ACI) and affiliated federations presented awards to pike and predator anglers who had represented Ireland at international level during the last two years.

The awards were presented in recognition of the outstanding contribution made by each of the anglers to Irish angling as an international competitor.
