Lough Lene Anglers to host Wardell Cup for pike on 10 May

On May 10^th next Lough Lene Anglers will host the Wardell Cup for pike fishing. Its an 11am start and finished at 6pm, with check –in on Fagan’s Point. The lake should produce a few good pike in the coming weeks, and pike fly anglers will be out on Lene in the coming weeks.

Visiting fly anglers have landed some fine trout while out with Midland Angling Guides, pike anglers also recorded some net bursting catches including many pike over 20lbs.
