Mick Flanagan from Midland Angling has some competition news from Guladoo and Gowna…
Our neighboring angler in North Longford has sent us details of the 3-day pike angling festival fished over the May Bank Holiday weekend. On Saturday May 2nd Lough Gualladoo is the venue with fishing from 11am-6pm.
Sunday Gowna is the venue with fishing 10am-5pm.
Bank Holiday Monday is Ladies day on Gowna and fishing is from 12 Noon- 4pm.
More on this give David Roche a bell on 086-8732919. David is making waves on the angling scene and has had some lovely trout recently. Every year some big trout are caught during the festival, and Gowna is certainly worth a trip.
