Visiting Scottish angler Ciaran Wilson, Editor of Essox Ecosse Magazine had a day to remember when fishing with Guide Kenny Sloan around the Foxford waters.
Casting from their drifting boat accounted for his biggest lure caught Irish pike at 24lb. He also had fish of 18lb, 17lb, 16lb, 12lb, and 3 other smaller ones.
Guide Kenny Sloan also had a few casts and landed a 23lb pike on a Salmo Sweeper lure.
Ciaran will be writing an article on the great pike fishing to be had around the area which is regarded as a great destination for many European pike anglers.
