LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 11th  April to Sunday 17th May 2015.

Weather conditions were fairly variable this week on Melvin once again. The lough fished fairly well though. To date, I have heard of 6 salmon caught. Rodney Benson recorded 2 caught trolling with the best over 10 lb. Melvin Schofield, Robert Irvine and Stephen Kennedy all recorded a salmon apiece caught trolling.  On Thursday, Jim Connolly reported 2 salmon caught on the fly in Rossinver bay. These weighed 6 & 8 lb.
