Charterboat skipper Daryl Ewing of Sligo Boat Charters had an epic day’s fishing and tells us;
Carlsberg dont do skate fishing days, but if they did, yesterday would have been one! A phenomenal new record on board of 5 skate landed up to 170lb, and one monster lost at the side of the boat. Even more bites missed and all returned happy and healthy. Big thanks to all the fantastic hard puffing fishermen on board!

Sea Star is based in Rosses Point, Sligo (10 mins from Sligo town on local bus route). Services available include deep sea angling, reef fishing, shark fishing (August-October) and eco tourism cruises. Trips can be tailor made to suit anglers and include modest half day, full day and evening trip rates for groups, individuals, and children.
