It was a busy few days last weekend for the Caffrey family in Mount Street, who are part and parcel of angling here in Mullingar. Earlier in the week I teamed up with young Rian Caffrey who is enjoying his Easter break from school. On the day we ventured out on Ennell, and had some fantastic sport jigging for perch.
Also back on the local lakes was Rian Uncle Dermot Caffrey who was home for a few days from Boston. It was a flying visit for Dermot who dropped over for his Mums Birthday celebrations, but also managed to get a days fishing on Owel with Brendan Murray. I am sure our angling report will make its way to Boston in the coming days.
