Sunday saw the last Carrickmacross Club Angler of the year 2016 in Shercock, Co Cavan. Conditions were almost ideal and the venue venue fished well. It was great to see the junior members really put it up to the seniors in this hotly contested final. Eoin and Eamon Rogers both put in big performances to ensure they stayed in the top 3 overall. Eamon won on the day with over 11kg and was 2nd overall, while junior angler Eoin finished 3rd on Sunday with 8.55kg enough to see him take 1st place overall with a couple of kilos to spare!
- 1st Eamon Rogers 11kg 850
- 2nd Peadar O’Brien 9kg 225
- 3rd Eoin Rogers 8kg 550
The overall result over 6 Matches and the winner
- 1st Eoin Rogers 55kg 450
- 2nd Eamon Rogers 53kg 150
- 3rd Bob Gibbard 40kg 246
- 4th Peadar O’Brien 28kg 250
What a great year roll on 2017 and well done to everyone in Carrickmacross Club.
