Saturday and Sunday saw junior anglers competing at U15, U20 and U25 age groups in the last two of four qualifiers for the 2017 FIPS-ed World Youth Angling Championships hosted by Coarse Angling Ireland NCFFI on Inniscarra Lake in Co. Cork and the superb “Coachford Greenway Stretch”.
The weekend saw another great turnout of junior angles who enjoyed some great fishing despite the weather. A total of 34 anglers put their names forward, unfortunately only 15 can be selected. The three teams of five will be announced in due course once ratified and anglers will be contacted. Well done to everyone who took part.,
