Daingean Match Anglers report that the Daingean Canal is starting to produce some great weights. There will be no shortage of bait going in over the next weekend with both the Junior All Ireland Canal Championships and the Naas and District Anglers Summer League taking place.
The events will show just what pressure this great stretch of water can take in advance of the Daingean two day festival which is being held on the 14th and 16th of June. There are over twenty anglers booked in and its shaping up to be a great event.
Last week there was great colour around MMillennium Bridge and along to the bumpy road so there should be a fair chance of a few big fish along with plenty of roach.
