There was no change at the top of the leader board as German anglers Jens Koschnick and Thorsten Kusters continue to keep the top spot. Their running total now stands at over 136kg, 20kg ahead of their nearest competitors. There was a shakeup for second place though as Dean Barlow and Steve Fleming leap frogged from 5th to challenge the German’s dominance.
Thorsten, Jens and Steve are currently 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Daiwa Cup standings.
The wind was up yesterday and Garadice’s Connolly Shore had quite a chop. Most chose the feeder there but Mark Pollard managed to fish the pole to great effect, getting a good stamp of hybrid that saw him win the section with a 4kg margin.
