Alice Murtagh IFI from the Corlesmore office reports:
Thirty five anglers took part in the Ballinamore Festival competition and although bags were not exceptionally large, plenty of perch, roach, hybrids and a few bream were caught. One tench weighing 2.5kg was also bagged much to the delight of Alan Holl.

- 1st James Place 36.550kg
- 2nd Wayne Fuller 35.275kg
- 3rd Francis McGoldrick 32.600kg
- 4th Tony Green 29.500kg
- 5th John Potters 28.800kg
Some English anglers from the North of England have been fishing Greenville Lough mainly early morning fishing and report good mixed bags of fish mainly Roach, Perch and some Skimmers. Sizeable Roach, Hybrids and Perch are also being bagged at Killykeen while some nice Tench and Bream are coming from Dereskit and Bawn Lake.
