Ballybay Angling association report from an exciting team event on Lough Muckno:
On Sunday Ballybay Angling held their annual 4 Man Team Event on Lough Muckno.
28 teams (112 anglers) attended this event, which leaves it as one of the most popular team events in Ireland.
Irish Bait and Tackle Limited was on site early this morning to supply all the fresh bait for this event.
The draw went off smoothly, with all anglers being on the bank in or around 9.45am.
Fishing commenced at 11am, and although we all knew fishing was going to be tough, the weights were quite consistent averaging 1 – 2.500kgs on all sections, with the exception of Steven Whyte (Ballybay Angling member) who had a great weight of 4.250kgs from Yellow Island.
We would like to thank everybody who helped out with the draw, the weigh ins, individual pools, etc. We would also like to Irish Bait and Tackle for their great service, and the Old Coach Inn for their kind hospitality.

1st Irish Feeder Team 19pts.
