Michael Flanagan tells us that news filtered in last week of the theft of four outboard engines, and two electric engines plus numerous power tools and a chainsaw from a house in the Killucan area. The equipment belonged to two well-known anglers, who as a father and son team represented Ireland at the highest level in Angling. It’s a tough blow as the lads prepare for the new angling season, and it looks like a well-planned robbery. These engines are not that easily handled and are quite heavy as there were three 15hp Yamaha engines taken in the robbery. One of the engines was a 2015 model and we include a photograph of the engine.
