Leinster Pike Anglers report on their invitational day yesterday:
Turned out to be a miserable day weather wise but it didn’t seem to bother the fish with very few blanks. There was around 70 fish landed between 30 anglers. No big girls were coming out to play but still a lot of fun had with the jacks.
There was a few new faces out with us which was great to see and very nice to meet you all. Our membership list is filling up fast. If you would like to join please send us a pm asap.

Results from yesterday’s comp:
1st. Jody Kiernan – 23 fish – 59lb 3oz
2nd Fran Crosbie – 9 fish – 22lb 2oz
3rd Jay Cooke – 8 fish – 15lb 14oz
Heaviest fish – Tom Sullivan – 7lb 5oz.
This fish was Toms first ever pike so it deserves a very special well done.

The Irish Federation of Pike Angling Clubs (IFPAC) is a body representing pike anglers in Ireland, North and South.The IFPAC was founded on 17th January 1988 at a meeting held at the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan. The membership for that year stood at fifteen clubs representing six hundred anglers, today membership of IFPAC is approaching 100 affiliated clubs representing in excess of seven thousand anglers from all walks of life.
