Lindsey Clarke reports  from LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 21st February  to Sunday 27th March 2016.

The week was settled but the weekend brought much rougher weather with heavy rain showers and strong winds which boat angling somewhat uncomfortable. To date I have heard of 3 salmon all caught over the weekend. Seamus O’Dare recorded a salmon of around 7lb caught trolling off Eden. Micky Duffy reported a salmon of around 8lb caught trolling off Ward’s Point and Stanley McCullan accounted for 9lb salmon caught trolling off Ward’s Point.
