Great fishing reported from Co. Galway with Max Couque from Galway Fishing who was fishing in Galway Bay with Krysztof Michonski and his friends on Saturday. Among the catch were a few spurdogs, three cods and plenty pollack and mackerel!
The following day Max had nice plus pollack, cod, pouting, cuckoo wrasse, poor cod, scad, mackerel and spurdog. Max tells us he has never seen so many spurdogs on a fishing trip. His Onix 10 was showing a lot of them, he could even see their shadow on the Side Imaging!
Skipper John Fleming of Blue Shark Angling Galway was absolutely ecstatic as he caught his first porbeagle on Sunday. John and John Paul Kelly have put alot of time into catching these monsters and it finally paid off with a fish about 80lb a fantastic hard fight, few photos and then returned alive.
