Guide Sean Jordan of Bass fishing Wexford had some great fishing on the Wexford coast and caught the bars of silver. He reports:
North Wales crew, Alun, Russell, & Mark enjoyed some good topwater fishing during their stay, covering all the base’s ie sandy beaches, tidal rips, & rock marks in search of some surface action with bass. Alun was the first to meet a fish on day one, within 20 minutes, then had his hooks straightened on the next cast (he’ll be checking his drag next time).
The mighty Tackle House Vulture 120 caught the attention of some hard fighting, well conditioned fish as it flickered, & skipped across the flows, and the ever reliable Pugachev’s Cobra 90, in the more placid water. Mark (pictured) was delighted to catch his first bass off the surface, he followed that with three more that evening up to 68cm. They all celebrated catches, & losses with gusto on the last night, going home with fond memory’s of Duncormick, & beyond…
