Michael Flanagan from Midland Angling reports on the fishing on Lough Lene last week…
The lake has fished well since opening day March 1st, and some cracking brown and rainbow trout have been caught. Last weekend many anglers ventured out on Lene and fish in access of 4lbs in weight were caught on the troll and fly. Regular visitor to the Midland lakes Dominic Murphy of Tallagh had some cracking rainbows on the fly along with pal Dave Smith of Dundrum.
