After a long absence of 10 years the Munster Coarse Anglers returned to Annacotty Pumphouse on the Lower Shannon. It doesn’t produce for them but it’s a great venue and they will be back to try again…

On Sunday we fished our penultimate Winter League match on the stands at Annacotty Pumphouse after an absence 10 years (A big thank you to our friends at Limerick & District Anglers who facilitated us).
To put it mildly it did not fish, only 5 of our anglers caught out of a field 12 .

1st Ian Kelsey 4 fish – 12oz
2nd Liam Bedford  2 fish – 11.5oz
3rd kamil smiechowski  2 fish – 5oz

Steve Grogan & Paul Mcaul were the other 2 anglers to trouble the scales

The fishing was poor, but Munster Coarse Anglers still have faith in the venue

It was a disappointing result, however we will be back when the conditions are a bit more favourable.
