The Dublin Pike Anglers report some excellent fishing was had on Sunday during the third leg of their Winter League. An excellent 17lb fish was had by Steve Farrelly. This fine looking fish was not enough to win him the day and Dave Murphy ened up taking the honours. Another catch of interest was a lovely looking brown trout that snapped up a deadbait meant for another predator. This fish, along with all the other pike caught on the day, was carefully released.

Results for the day are:

  • 1st. Dave Murphy
  • 2nd. Steve Farelley
  • 3rd. Joey Bonnie
  • 4th. Paddy Burke
