Marty Smith and his pal Trevor Higginbotham from Washington had a few tough days out fishing with Mick Flanagan last week.
The plucky guide managed to get his anglers some good pike but for the most part it was jacks they were catching. The weather played a part in the proceedings and they fished in brilliant sunshine, blustery winds, rain and savage hailstone showers. The best fish was a belter of 20lbs 4oz.
